The Pita Pit

Hello everyone. I know its been awhile but I’m back and bringing you something fresh. I went to the Pita Pit in Fargo recently and boy was I pleasantly surprised.

Atmosphere – 4/5

When you walk in you are greeted by brightly colored walls with various foods proposed as cartoons. Overall its a pretty fun and easy going atmosphere with ample amounts of seating.

Service – 3/5

The service is not bad but its also nothing special. The pita makers are friendly and are focused on making your pita exactly the way you want it. The prices are fair and very comparable to other sandwich/sub places. One thing I do really like is how they wrap your pita and then put a napkin around the outside. Not only do you have your napkin if things get messy but you are able to unwrap and eat your pita with ease. If you can’t finish it all its not a chore to wrap it back up and save it for later.

Variety – 3/5

Pita Pit has the same types of sandwiches you would expect to find at other comparable places. However, every Pita Pit has a area specific sub which is a neat flavor. They also have a lot more meat and veggie options to choose from compared to the Subway competitor.

Taste – 5/5

I honestly don’t know what it is, nor could I even begin to explain it but the overall taste of Pita Pit can be expressed in one word. FRESH. Every pita I have consumed from Pita Pit has always tasted fresh, as if the vegetables were just brought from the fields to my pita. Not only does everything taste fresh but it also feels healthy. Even though Subway portrays itself as a healthy eating establishment, I have never felt like I was eating healthy as I devoured a sub from Subway. With Pita Pit its a different story. It tastes fresh, feels healthy, and is just plain delicious.

So the next time your roaming around Fargo dive on into the pit. The Pita Pit that is.
